Almond, Oats & Jaggery Energy Balls

Bite-sized fuel for your daily adventures.

We believe that what you snack on should do more than just quiet your hunger – it should empower your body. These energy balls are a tribute to our Sri Lankan roots, combining the deep, mineral-rich sweetness of traditional jaggery with the sophisticated crunch of premium almonds and the grounding energy of oats. They are the perfect companion for a mountain hike, a long commute, or a focused afternoon at the office, providing a natural, steady spark of vitality when you need it most.

This recipe relies on the superior quality of NutraBloom Almonds and the fiber-rich goodness of whole oats. Unlike mass-processed snacks, our almonds are hand-selected for their freshness and high oil content. When pulsed with oats and traditional Kithul jaggery, they create a perfect, nutrient-dense bond. This ensures you get a clean source of Vitamin E, protein, and complex carbohydrates without the need for artificial binders, syrups, or preservatives.

The Recipe

  • Prep time: 15 minutes
  • Yields: 14–16 balls

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup NutraBloom Almonds
  • ½ cup Rolled oats (slightly toasted for extra flavor)
  • ½ cup Grated Kithul jaggery (high quality)
  • ¼ tsp Cardamom powder
  • A pinch of sea salt

Directions:

  1. The Base: Pulse the NutraBloom Almonds and oats together in a blender or food processor until they form a coarse, sandy meal. Aim for texture rather than a fine powder.
  2. The Blend: Add the grated jaggery, cardamom, and sea salt. Process until the mixture begins to clump together and forms a sticky, workable dough.
  3. The Shape: Using your hands, roll the dough into consistent 1-inch balls. If the mixture feels too dry, add a teaspoon of warm water or melted coconut oil.
  4. The Set: Chill in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. This allows the oats to hydrate and the jaggery to set, creating a firm, fudgy texture that holds its shape perfectly.
